The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a prestigious international robotics competition dedicated to Science, Technology and Education. Uniting young participants from different countries worldwide, its mission is to promote robotics in STEM education worldwide by providing opportunities to explore STEM topics and robotics.
Even though the WRO competition is not held in Singapore, outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence in the National Robotics Competition (NRC) will be given the chance to represent Singapore on the global stage.

The biggest robotics competition in Singapore, National Robotics Competition (NRC), offers an exhilarating game-based experience for participants to unleash their creativity and problem-solving abilities. It’s a fun and engaging platform that allows individuals to develop valuable skills.
Winning the Championship Award or Best Robot Performance grants participants the chance to represent Singapore in the WRO, which includes a sponsored trip. Mission challenges for the competition are announced 2 to 3 months in advance of the event date.
DJI Robomaster Youth Championship

RoboMaster Youth Championship (RMYC) elevates robotic competition standards — participants are to form teams and engage in battles with their self-developed or modified robots. In Singapore’s RoboMaster 2022 Youth Championship, teams are required to engineer the hardware of DJI Robomaster EP and code its AI capabilities for a 4 vs 4 tactical game. Using DJI Robomaster EP and TT drones, they defend and attack bases.
This national-level competition combines hardware and software skills, challenging teams to showcase engineering abilities and programming expertise. With a focus on teamwork and coordination, participants strategise to defend and attack effectively. The RMYC aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and roboticists through an immersive experience fueling their passion for technology and innovation.

Introducing EcoBot Battlefield, an exciting robotics competition tailored for young tech learners aged 6 to 13 years old. Whether they are beginners or experienced competitors, students from all skill levels are invited to participate.
In this engaging competition, students harness their engineering and programming skills to design and program robots capable of tackling a range of challenges within a limited timeframe. By providing hands-on experience, EcoBot Battlefield aims to expose students to real-life problems and ignite their passion for science and engineering.
First LEGO League (FLL)

First LEGO League SG is a national LEGO robotics competition in Singapore that serves as a pathway to the FLL World Festival. Participants in FLL earn points by successfully completing missions using LEGO robots they have built.
FLL has three divisions: Discover, Explore, and Challenge. Each year, a new real-world Challenge is presented. In Discover, children learn STEM principles, collaborate on challenges, and construct LEGO models. In Explore, they apply STEM knowledge by designing and building robots using LEGO Education. In Challenge, participants combine STEM skills with critical thinking, working collaboratively to construct robots and compete in thrilling robotics games.
